Calcium in the product plays an important role of formation of plants cell walls and cell membranes. It helps in the translocation of nutrients in the plants including water whose deficiencies will lead to necrosis and blossom end rot commonly found in tomatoes and capsicum. Deficiency of calcium will also cause flowers to abort hence production losses For flowers and fruiting, three nutrients are essential i.e. Phosphorous, Potassium and Calcium. Nitrogen at this stage will delay flowering. Calcium would be a very important/essential nutrient since it protects flower abortion
