This is an organic fungicide used both as preventative and curative fungicide for fungal infections such as Powdery mildew, Downy mildew, anthracnose, and
rose black spot in a range of horticultural products and flower industry.
For flowers and fruiting, three nutrients are essential i.e. Phosphorous,
Potassium and Calcium. Nitrogen at this stage will delay flowering.
Calcium would be a very important/essential nutrient since it
protects flower abortion
Mode of action
- By controlling opening and closing of stomata, this prevents fungal attack.
- By disruption of ionic balance of fungal causing organisms thus destroying them.
- By strengthening cell walls of plants thus preventing the invasion of fungal hyphae.
